Première in 7 days!

We are ready! The rehearsal week will start on Monday! Already on Sunday a few of the 30 participants will  arrive in Basel and then there is a lot of work to do like rigging, training, dance-rehearsals and much more.

There are still tickets left for the shows from 25-28 May. On Sunday 26 May we have an afternoon show for the small and the big ones!

 Order your tickets online or get them at one of the box offices from Ticketcorner in Switzerland. Of course there is also a box office on site.

This morning, YOUNG STAGE has presented the this year's participants, the jury and prizes as well as the program 2013! 30 artists coming from 10 different nations will perform in May in Basel and hope to win one of the prizes!

Press conference with two Swiss artists and Ariella Kaeslin!

We're about to start into the lead time of the festival 2013! The selling of the tickets runs at full speed and on April 17 we'll inform the media on our press conference about this years' festival, the program and of course about the artists. We are very pleased to welcome then two Swiss artists and jury member Ariella Kaeslin, European Champion in gymnastics.
On April 17 the participants will be published on our website.

30 worldclass artists from 11 nations in Basel!

On 25 May the 5th festival edition will finally start! Among 167 applications from 35 nations the festival-team invited 15 acts coming from 11 nations to participate at the festival. The participants show their amazing acts in 4 contemporary shows. A professional jury will evaluate the acts and will award several prizes and engagements.

Last Chance to apply for YOUNG STAGE 2013!

There are just 10 days left to the application deadline of the 5th edition of YOUNG STAGE, that will be held from 25-28 May 2013 in Basel, Switzerland. The application period will end on 8 February 2013! Please be aware that all the applications have to arrive in Basel until 15 February. Applications that arrive later can't be considered anymore.

Beside traditional and innovative circus disciplines we are looking for slackline artists, beatboxer, dance acts, tricker and parkour people who are interested to show their act on a circus stage!

The 5th edition of YOUNG STAGE will take place from 25-28 May 2013!

We are happy to announce the 5th edition of YOUNG STAGE and are looking forward to presenting the best young professional artists from all over the world. The ticket sale for YOUNG STAGE 2013 will start on 28 September 2012.
Artists up to 27 years (for groups the average age counts) are invited to apply until 8 February 2013. Please download the conditions of participation and the registration form  here ! We are looking forward to receiving your applications!
